Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has advised on the management buy-out (MBO) of Edinburgh-based interior design business Jeffreys Interiors. The firm represented Josephine Aynsley and Georgina Fraser on their acquisition of the business from its previous owners.
WBD’s corporate practice acted on the MBO, led by associate David Ridley, who is dual-qualified in Scotland and England & Wales. David commented:
“It has been a pleasure working with both Jo and Georgina on this acquisition, which will give them control over a business that they have been managing for a number of years. Their passion for interior design is clear and I am excited to see them lead the business from strength to strength. I wish them and the whole team at Jeffreys Interiors the best for the future.”
Georgina Fraser added:
“We are very grateful to David for his support and legal expertise throughout this transaction. He and his team were knowledgeable, efficient and easy to deal with. We have felt very well looked after throughout and would happily recommend David to anyone looking to acquire their own business.”
