PostNL appoints Chief Digital Officer
Accelerating the introduction of innovative logistical solutions
PostNL has appointed Bart Delmulle as Chief Digital Officer and member of the Executive Committee. He will start at PostNL on 1 February. The appointment follows the announcement in November 2020, when PostNL published its intention to make additional investments in order to accelerate the digitalisation of its activities.
Digital transformation is a crucial driver of the Company’s strategy. This addition to the Executive Committee underpins the growing importance and central position digitalisation holds for its future. Bart brings a wealth of experience with large companies, which transform in order to leverage the impactful changes in technology and digitalisation.
PostNL can create operational synergies by accelerating the introduction of innovative logistical solutions. This appointment contributes to the acceleration of the digitalisation of its activities.
Following this appointment, the Executive Committee of PostNL will consist of: Herna Verhagen (Chief Executive Officer), Pim Berendsen (Chief Financial Officer), Liesbeth Kaashoek (Director Parcels & Logistics), Resi Becker (Director Mail in the Netherlands), Arno van Bijnen (Director Customer Excellence and Cross Border Solutions), Marcel Krom (Chief Information Officer), Bob van Ierland (Director HR) and Bart Delmulle (Chief Digital Officer).
