Eversheds Sutherland advises Ricoh on a third acquisition within two months
Eversheds Sutherland has advised Ricoh Europe (Ricoh) on its latest acquisition of MTI Technology, a highly experienced technology services and solutions provider.
This is the third transaction the global law firm has supported Ricoh on within the last two months.
MTI Technology, which specialises in cyber and data security, datacentre modernisation, IT managed services and IT transformation services, has been acquired by Ricoh from Endless LLP, a private equity investor, and minority sellers.
Partner and Co-Head of Eversheds Sutherland’s Global Corporate and M&A Team, Richard Moulton, led on the transaction, with support from Partner Colin Askew, Annika Unsworth, Senior Associate and James Finney and Ruary Smith, Associates.

This UK-led transaction builds on Eversheds Sutherland’s strong and long-standing relationship with Ricoh. The firm also recently advised Ricoh on its acquisition of DataVision, an AV and workplace integrator with 10 sales and services offices across Germany.
The Eversheds Sutherland team for the DataVision transaction, based in Munich and Dusseldorf, was led by Anthony Cross, Principal Associate, with support from Partners Simon Weppner, Manuela Rauch, Lutz Schreiber and Martin Bechtold, Fabrice Witzke, Principal Associate, and Associates Luise Paulsen, Niklas Schilawa, Sara Ghoroghy and Claudia Steinhaeusser.
In addition, Eversheds Sutherland Wierzbowski, Poland also advised Ricoh on its acquisition of SimplicITy, which offers a range of information technology services for businesses. Renata Patoka, Co-Head of the M&A team, and Natalia Burchardt, Senior Associate, M&A and PE/VC, led the team which comprised: Co-Heads of Commercial Marta Gadomska-Gołąb and Aleksandra Kunkiel-Kryńska, Senior Associates Joanna Polkowska (IP) and Agnieszka Sagan-Jeżowska (data protection), Grzegorz Kott, Of Counsel (finance), Associates Paweł Lasota (employment) and Dariusz Aziewicz (commercial), and Piotr Nowacki, Lawyer (M&A).
All three acquisitions underline Ricoh’s position as a digital services company.
