The Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers rankings, which are published by the government, are made up of employers from the public and private sector, including industries such as engineering, banking, healthcare, retailing, local government, accountancy and employers from the charity sector.
New to 2020, the rankings showcase the very best of England’s large apprenticeship employers, with employers recognised for providing some of the most successful apprenticeship programmes over the previous 12 months.
It’s hoped the list will help potential apprentices, parents and careers advisers to identify the best apprenticeship opportunities with the highest performing apprentice employers.
Frank Clayton, NG Bailey Group Head of Learning, said:
“This is a really rewarding achievement for us as a business, to be recognised amongst a group of committed employers who all share the same passion for apprenticeships and the opportunities they have to offer.
“We have a really successful history of training apprentices, which dates back over 80 years and during this time over 5,700 people have completed an apprenticeship with us.
“We continue to invest in our apprenticeship programme, as well as expand the range of roles we have to offer. Providing these skills and development opportunities is really beneficial to both NG Bailey and our apprentices and it’s great to see them grow with us as a business.”
Our 2020 apprenticeship window has re-opened, with opportunities for electricians, quantity surveyors, heating and plumbing and project engineers available.
