Taylor Wimpey North West is delighted to have officially welcomed its very first residents into their new home at the Kings Moat Garden Village development off Wrexham Road, Chester.

Teachers, Sophie Coyle and Glen Roberts, opted for the four-bedroom detached Dunham house type on the brand-new scheme which, once complete, will feature a total of 513 homes in a range of two- to five-bedroom styles.

This is one of three legal completions that have taken place at Kings Moat Garden Village in the last month and marks a major milestone for the development.

Stuart Craig, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North West, comments: “We’re delighted to hear that Sophie and Glen have now got the keys to their new home.

“Our sales executives spend months building relationships with our customers therefore it’s an exciting and happy moment for everyone when we see new residents receive the keys to the next chapter of their lives.

“It also marks an important new stage in our development journey, with years of work coming together to get to this moment where we welcome our first wave of residents and see the community really start to take shape.”

Sophie and Glen took advantage of the homebuilder’s Easymover scheme to secure their new home, which sees the homebuilder liaise with the buyer’s estate agency, pay their fees and manage the whole house selling process from start to finish.

Sophie comments: “There was no way we would have had the time to sell our old house ourselves. The Easymover scheme meant Taylor Wimpey did all the hard work for us! It was stress-free and convenient, and our old home was put on the market really quickly.

“We are less than a 10-minute drive outside of the city centre. There is a free bus that takes us straight into Chester too and we can’t wait to get on board. We never knew we could get a new build of such high quality so close to the city centre.

“Taylor Wimpey’s on-site team have been incredibly helpful throughout our buying process. They’ve really looked after us and made sure we understood everything properly. We would absolutely recommend Taylor Wimpey to anybody looking to buy a new home.”
