Deloitte’s managing partner for regions comments on today’s Spending Review

Commenting on the Chancellor’s Spending Review, Dan Barlow, managing partner for regions at Deloitte, said:

“It is encouraging to see the Chancellor continue to focus on rebalancing our nations and regions, and the intention to create a ‘place-based’ approach to regional priorities and investments.

“Whilst significant government-led initiatives, such as basing the new National Infrastructure Bank in the North, are critical, firms like ours and regional businesses in general all need to play our part and be accountable ‘on the ground’ to ensure opportunities for all are realised.”
