COVID-19: Two new cases detected, total reaches 428

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Two new COVID-19 cases detected in Mongolia after 814 tests carried out nationwide yesterday. Specifically, tests carried out on 50 people, who had close
contacts with the first cases of cluster or community transmission in Ulaanbaatar
city and out of them, two people were tested positive, while all of the 1125
tests carried on the people who had indirect contacts tested negative for the
coronavirus. As a result, the number of confirmed infected persons, who had
close contacts with the first cases reached nine, reports Head of Surveillance
Department of the NCCD A.Ambaselmaa.

As of today, 428 confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in
Mongolia. 328 of them have made recovery. 95 people are receiving treatment at
the NCCD and 2 of them are in critical, 23 are in serious and 73 are in mild
health condition.

Currently, a total of 163 people are under medical
supervision, surveillance and treatment at the NCCD.
