Riverside County nears 2,000 coronavirus cases; reports largest jump in cases yet

The number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in Riverside County is now almost 2,000 following the single highest one-day jump in cases Tuesday, April 14.

The county now has 1,961 cases, up 297 from Monday, April 13. That beats the previous record for a single-day increase of 188, which occurred Sunday, April 12.

The number of deaths is unchanged at 50, while 376 in the county have officially recovered from the virus, up 79 from Monday.
