Fleur East has coronavirus concerns after meeting Prince Charles two weeks ago

Fleur East spoke out about her health concerns after she met Prince Charles two weeks ago.

It’s just hit headlines the royal has been diagnosed with coronavirus.

The singer, 32, voiced her fears during her appearance on The One Show on Wednesday where she talked about meeting the Prince of Wales at the Prince’s Trust Awards just 14 days ago.

What’s more, she said Prince Charles seemingly kept forgetting about the social distancing rule as he kept extending his hand out for hand shakes.

After deliberating, Fleur told hosts Alex Jones and Patrick Kielty: “It was 14 days ago, so I’m safe. 14 days is the clear window.”

Fleur also expressed her sadness at not being able to meet her fans due to the lockdown restrictions the government has placed in a bid to combat the global pandemic.

She admitted: “I am sad that I couldn’t meet fans and hug them. But also it’s a good time to have music out and help get people through this time.”

Prince Charles tests positive for the Coronavirus

Meanwhile the Prince of Wales, 71, has been self-isolating with his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, 72, at their 53,000-acre Birkhall estate in Scotland.

They have been apart from each other at the residence.

The heir to the throne met hundreds of people during a “high number of engagements” in recent weeks – where he offered namaste gestures instead of handshakes.

But it is “not possible to ascertain” where Prince Charles caught the virus, his spokesman said.
