Strides in Sustainable Forestry

Helping protect endangered forests while also ensuring timber for future generations is part of The Home Depot’s commitment to the environment. Since establishing a Wood Purchasing Policy in 1999, the company became the first national retailer to carry Forest Stewardship Council-certified (FSC) wood.
