Northampton Yodel colleague celebrates 30-year anniversary

Julie Paul from Northampton is celebrating her 30-year anniversary with international parcel carrier Yodel.

Julie has fulfilled a wide range of roles in her 30 years at Yodel – from transporting cash and delivering parcels through to customer service. She first joined Yodel in 1990, when the business was known as Securicor, carrying out a cash in transit role. She then started delivering parcels in Bedford in 1996 and was then transferred to the Northampton depot. In 2002, Julie began working in customer service, a role she has stayed in since. She enjoys the wide variety her role offers, including the pre-briefing of drivers, customer claims and handling lost property.

To celebrate her milestone, the team at Northampton presented Julie with £750 in vouchers and a bouquet of flowers.

Julie Paul, Customer Service Support, Yodel said: “I have truly enjoyed my time with the company, and this has been down to the people I have met and worked with over the years. I would like to thank them for their loyalty, commitment and hard work.”

Paul Heathcote, Depot Manager at Northampton, Yodel added: “Julie is a highly valued member of the operations team in Northampton and adapts to the varied roles required of her quickly and efficiently. Her professionalism and experience coupled with her bubbly personality make Julie a popular member of the team. It has been a pleasure working with her and I congratulate her on an outstanding achievement of 30 years continuous service.”
