Renault-Nissan-Mitsubish renews logistics contract with Groupe CAT

Distribution in France and Belgium covers 350,000 vehicles per year

On July 31, 2020, the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance reiterated its trust in the Groupe CAT for the distribution of vehicles in France and Belgium. A new three-year contract covers a volume of 350,000 vehicles per year.

In France, the Groupe CAT continues to manage the port management of vehicles produced abroad and their national distribution from Le Havre, Montoir-de-Bretagne and Sète.

The group will continue the distribution of vehicles in France, particularly strengthening its position in Paris area and in the eastern part of the country.

In Belgium, all port management in Antwerp will be carried out by the group, as well as all compound and distribution operations from Seneffe. This includes the preparation as well as the storage and all the associated services offered by Groupe CAT in the Benelux (painting, bodywork, transformation and personalisation of vehicles).

This agreement also extends to international flows, as Groupe CAT continues the distribution of Spanish production from the Palencia and Valladolid factories to France. The same applies to the flows from the Sandouville factory (Le Havre, France) to Benelux.

In addition to maintaining these activities, the Alliance is now entrusting Groupe CAT with the entire distribution of its iconic product, Clio, produced in the Novo Mesto factory in Slovenia and dedicated for the French market.

The Company’s main activities include the logistics of finished vehicles and associated value-adding services (preparation, bodywork/painting, customisation…), as well as the logistics of spare parts, industrial components and two-wheelers.
