NFI’s Bill Bliem, SVP of Fleet Services, to Speak to Trucking Technology at Intermodal Association of North America’s Webinar

Bill Bliem, Senior Vice President of Fleet Services at NFI, will participate in Intermodal Association of North America’s (IANA) webinar entitled, “Next-Level Truck Technology and the Effects on Intermodal’s Competitive Landscape.” The session will take place on Tuesday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and will offer insight into alternative fuel trucks and what this next-level trucking technology means for intermodal.

“For shippers to remain competitive in this dynamic landscape, it’s important to evolve to meet consumer demands and remain at the forefront of new technology,” said Bliem. “By moving together as an industry in implementing alternative fuel fleets, we can generate the greatest outcome for our customers and communities. In addition to benefits like fuel expense savings, improved safety features, longer lifespans, and reduced maintenance costs, this technology presents an opportunity to create cleaner communities and reduce our carbon footprints. NFI continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in order to remain at the forefront of innovation and it’s an exciting time to be a part of this ever-changing environment.”
