Transmetrics has announced that Jonathan Fath will be its new Chief Operating Officer. Based on his experience in logistics assets management, Fath will be in charge of commercial and general management responsibilities, driving revenue growth, and contributing to product development at Transmetrics.
Fath graduated from the Paris-Dauphine University in International Business. He has over ten years of business development, buy-side M&A, and corporate strategy experience within both Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. Furthermore, he has a track record in creating and leading new business ventures, leveraging advancements in new business models and digital technologies in Europe, China, and North America. He has a strong background working in the logistics industry; past job experiences include strategic positions within HNA Group and being the COO at Equivvy, which was funded by KION Group.
Transmetrics has managed to grow from a startup into a major technology provider with a wide portfolio of logistics customers among which are DPD, Kuehne + Nagel, Gebrüder Weiss, and NileDutch. Now the company aims to further grow and expand its products to predictive asset management to help companies like container owners, trailer owners, and intermodal companies manage their assets in the most optimal way and reduce repositioning, storage and maintenance costs.
“Jon has outstanding commercial performance and extensive international experience. In addition, he is very well-positioned in the asset management area. Hiring him represents a strategic step of our development as a provider of predictive optimisation solutions for logistics because we plan to expand our product portfolio in the next two years,” said Asparuh Koev, Transmetrics CEO and Co-Founder.
“I’m looking forward to help our customers addressing inefficiencies in this market space,” added Fath.
