Shipment comprised of 827 cartons of personal protective equipment

At the end of March, Bolloré Logistics Philippines supported Philippine Red Cross with their customs clearance for a part charter. The shipment comprised of 827 cartons of personal protective equipment arriving from Cambodia.

Despite the Luzon region lockdown in the Philippines due to Covid-19 since 17th March, the Bolloré Logistics team worked tirelessly and closely with Manila’s Bureau of Customs to ensure the quickest clearance possible.

With the Joint Administrative Order 1-2020, customs release for relief consignments during calamities could be expedited. This allowed the importer to present the complete goods declaration to the customs within 45 days from the filing of initial documents to the Bureau of customs. The clearance and release of cargo was performed within a day thanks to the expertise and efforts of the Bolloré Logistics team.
