White & Case Advises Archer Hotel Capital on Financing of Pan-European Hotel Portfolio | White & Case LLP

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Archer Hotel Capital (AHC) on its approximately €380 million cross-collateralised financing package by Aareal Bank AG of a pan-European portfolio of seven hotels in five different European countries.

“We have supported AHC on this complex financing, executed during the present very challenging circumstances,” said White & Case partner Jeffrey Rubinoff, who led the Firm’s deal team. “The transaction required us to deploy a multi-jurisdictional, multi-disciplinary team to implement a financing that will see AHC though to the return of a more conventional operating environment.”

The portfolio of hotels includes the Le Meridien Piccadilly, Renaissance La Defense, Renaissance Vendome, Renaissance Amsterdam, Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Sheraton Stockholm and Conrad Dublin.

The White & Case team that advised on the transaction was led by partner Jeffrey Rubinoff (London) and included partners Victoria Landsbert and Peita Menon (both London), Carl Hugo Parment (Stockholm) and Amaury de Feydeau (Paris), counsel Paul Harrington (London) and associates Rizwan Latif and Wiesia Wagstyl (both London), Paul Loisel and Ahmed Boulahcen (both Paris) and Petar Bojovic and Josephine Martinsson (both Stockholm).
