Travers Smith is delighted to be sponsoring the International Tax Review Women in Tax Forum – Europe, for the third consecutive year, which is taking place virtually on 17 and 18 September 2020.

This virtual event provides tax professionals (both men and women) the opportunity to network and learn from industry thought leaders. Subjects will include: tax reform changes and international tax developments; digital taxation; transfer pricing; managing tax controversy; and much more. Attendees will range from junior corporate tax professionals all the way through to managers, directors and heads of tax, and newly admitted lawyers through to managing partners.

Tax Partner Jessica Kemp will be moderating a panel discussion, on the first day of the event, looking at taking stock of the current tax landscape.

Jessica will be joined on the panel by Gaynor Nutbrown, Head of EMEA Tax, Avis Budget Group, Janine Juggins, EVP Global Tax & Treasury, Unilever, and Karine Halimi-Guez, Managing Director Tax, FedEx. The panel will discuss their key concerns for the year to come, as well as explore the short and long-term impacts of Covid-19
