ANGLE is a world-leading player in the liquid biopsy market, commercialising a platform technology that can capture rare cells circulating in blood, such as cancer cells, even when they are few in number such as one cell in one billion blood cells and harvest these cells for analysis.

The company will use the funds raised to build on its position in the liquid biopsy market by progressing the commercialisation of its cell separation technology, known as the Parsortix system.

Hill Dickinson corporate partner Ian Gillis led on the placing, with support from senior associate Katie Somerville and associate James Robinson.

Ian Gillis commented: “We are delighted to have advised finnCap and WG Partners in connection with this fundraising for ANGLE, which marks the fourth fundraise by ANGLE which the Hill Dickinson Manchester Corporate team has been involved in as the investment banks’ adviser. We look forward to working with the teams at finnCap and WG Partners again in the not too distant future”.
