Clifford Chance Amsterdam advises Encavis Infrastructure Fund II (EIF II) on the acquisition of seven solar farms from Baywa r.e.

Clifford Chance Amsterdam has advised Encavis Infrastructure Fund II (EIF II) on the acquisition of seven solar farms from BayWa r.e. including the related project financings. These solar farms are located in the Netherlands in:

  • Eelde (a ca. 21.8 MWp solar farm located at Groningen Airport)
  • Maas en Waal (a ca. 5.1 MWp solar farm located in Beneden-Leeuwen)
  • Tynaarlo (a ca. 8.4 MWp solar farm located in Tynaarlo)
  • Zwette (a ca. 18.2 MWp solar farm located in Leeuwarden)
  • Flierbelten (a ca. 5.7 MWp solar farm located in Vroomshop)
  • Jumaheerd (a ca. 6.7 MWp solar farm located in Kollum) and
  • Sekdoorn (a ca. 14.5 MWp solar farm located in Zwolle)

The Tynaarlo and Sekdoorn solar farms are two of the largest floating solar farms in Europe.

The team was led by Hein Tonnaer and consisted of Jeroen Thijssen, Liesbeth Buiter, Thomas Heijerman, Charlotte Horsten, Rutger Dekker, Jasper Wesselman, Johanneke Butijn, Bahar Sharif, Esmee Oldenkamp, Alison Kiernan and Aleksandra Wlaszczuk.
