Executive Moves at Lockton Pacific Underpin Growth, Industry Presence and Community Impact | Lockton Companies

LOS ANGELES, Calif., September 15, 2020—Lockton Insurance Brokers, LLC, the Pacific region of global insurance broker Lockton Companies, recently announced several key leadership moves to build upon its 25 year legacy of record-setting growth, client service excellence and philanthropic leadership.

Teena Hostovich has been appointed Vice Chair of Lockton Pacific, overseeing government relations, culture and community impact. Hostovich will focus on solidifying Lockton’s external engagement efforts with regional and national legislators. She will also help advance strategic philanthropy, women’s leadership initiatives and cultural growth in diversity and inclusion for the company.

“I’m excited to work with Teena in continuing to define our legacy and creating positive, impactful change for future generations,” says Lockton’s Pacific Chairman Timothy Noonan. “Since joining Lockton in 2001, Teena has been a valued partner who has demonstrated strong leadership within the company as well as in the community. I look forward to her championing our government affairs and bringing voice to a number of important initiatives for Lockton and our clients.”

Hostovich specializes in complex risk, higher education, law firms and other professional services. Her civic and philanthropic involvement includes serving on the boards of USC Marshall, Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as well as an advisor to the Oxford University Women’s Studies Program. She has also served as an advisor to President Obama on a number of key issues.

Greg Barnes has been named president of Greater Los Angeles, where he will lead a team of property-casualty insurance and employee benefits experts who serve commercial clients nationally and globally.

“As president of our Los Angeles operations, Greg’s leadership will be vital to continuing our momentum and strong organic growth in 2021 and beyond,” continues Noonan. “He has not only earned the trust of clients and Associates alike, but I am confident his bold vision for the future of our LA office and strategic direction will continue the legacy we have built with the Los Angeles business community over the past 25 years.” 

Barnes has been with Lockton for nine years in a client leadership role, most recently as executive vice president who serves on the executive committee of Lockton Pacific. A leading producer who specializes in middle-market businesses, private equity and M&A situations, he will continue his client and business development responsibilities as president of Greater Los Angeles.

In this expanded role, he will be focused on topline revenue growth, producer development and overall client experience including further strengthening the company’s collaborative and entrepreneurial approach to client servicing.

Barnes received a B.A. in Communication from University of Southern California (USC) and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. He is actively involved in the community where he serves on the boards of various nonprofit organizations including the Board of Trustees of Children’s Bureau, Independent School Alliance for Minority Affairs and Read To A Child.
