UPDATE: Delta issues waivers for travelers in path of Hurricane Zeta

Latest update, Oct. 26:  

Where: Cancun, Mexico 

When: Oct. 26 – 27, 2020 

Where: Alexandria, LA; Baton Rouge, LA; Fort Walton Beach, FL; Gulfport, MS; Lafayette, LA; Mobile, AL; New Orleans, LA; Pensacola, FL 

When: Oct. 28 – 29, 2020 

Hurricane Zeta is heading toward Mexico with sustained winds of 70 mph. Delta has not canceled any Mexico flights at this time, however, our Operations & Customer Center and team of meteorologists continue to monitor the storm to make adjustments as needed. 

In addition to the current travel waiver for Cancun in effect for travel on Oct. 26 and 27, Delta has issued a second travel waiver for select cities in Louisiana, Florida and Alabama, for travel on Oct. 28 and 29, ahead of the storm’s impact.  

Customers are encouraged to check their flight status on Delta.com or the Fly Delta Mobile App. Customers can also get updates sent directly to their mobile device or by email.

Tropical Storm Zeta is heading toward Mexico with sustained winds of 40 mph. Delta has not canceled any Mexico flights at this time, however, our Operations & Customer Center and team of meteorologists continue to monitor the storm to make adjustments as needed.

A new travel waiver for Cancun is in effect for travel on Oct. 26 and 27. Customers booked on these dates will have the flexibility to rebook without additional fare difference until Oct. 30.
