Bio: Steve Sear, President – International & E.V.P. – Global Sales

Steve Sear is President – International and Executive Vice President – Global Sales for Delta Air Lines.  Steve is responsible for the Asia Pacific, Atlantic and Latin regions, as well as Alliance strategy, partner development and Global Sales.

He previously was Senior Vice President – Global Sales, overseeing Delta’s commercial account base, Reservations, Delta Cargo and MLT Vacations divisions.  This included deepening employee engagement and developing worldwide customer relationships and programs with corporations, travel management companies and alliance partners.

Steve has helped lead Delta to numerous industry awards, including nine consecutive wins in the annual Corporate Travel Managers’ Favorite Airline survey conducted by Business Travel News.  He was also named one of the 25 Most Influential Business Travel Executives by the publication.

Prior to joining Delta, Steve held various leadership positions at Northwest Airlines, including Vice President of Sales and Customer Care, Managing Director of Reservations, and Japan-based Director Revenue Management and Distribution.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Delta partner Virgin Atlantic, Steve is currently on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement Worldwide. Steve previously served on the Board of Directors for United Way of Greater Atlanta and the Board of Visitors for DePauw University.  He is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta and is active in the Global Business Travel Association.

Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from DePauw University and a MBA from the University of Chicago.
